That's right! With the one I purchased, you just turn the lamp on and the heat melts the candle wax. There's a timer and a dimmer, so you can control the brightness of the light (the brighter, the faster the wax melts) and have it shut off automatically. I also like that with a warmer, there's no soot or smoke.
